What we collect

• Your chosen name or nickname — to personalize the app.
• Your email address — to sign you in and keep your records.
• Your Keepsie content — the photos you upload and the lines you write.
• Mood and weather tags — optional, added when you complete a Keepsie.
• Approximate location — only with your permission, used to fetch today's weather. Coordinates are rounded before the request and are not retained. We store only the weather tag you choose to keep with a Keepsie.
• Usage data — product events (like opening a page or completing a Keepsie) and a random device identifier that help us improve the product. These are not linked to your account or email address.

How we use it

This information is used only to provide Keepsie's features and improve your experience. We never sell your data, and we never use it for anything unrelated to the product.

Where it lives

Your data is stored with Supabase (database and image storage) and protected by access controls that keep each account's records private. Anonymous product events are processed by PostHog when analytics is configured. Open-Meteo processes a rounded location only to return the current weather.

An unfinished Keepsie, including selected photos, may be saved only on your device so it survives a connection interruption. It is uploaded only when you choose to keep the moment.

Your rights

You can change your name or permanently delete your account and its Keepsies from the My tab inside the app. Deleting your account removes its authentication record, database records, uploaded photos, active sessions, and local Keepsie drafts on that device.
